Nano Laser Peel

Unlike the Micro Laser Peel, this gentle treatment is suitable for various skin types as it removes only a minimal number of skin layers. It targets the topmost layer of the stratum corneum, eliminating less than 10um of skin for a natural smoothness and radiant glow.
The procedure requires topical anesthetic and offers minimal downtime, allowing most patients to resume daily activities on Monday. Known as a ‘weekend peel,’ it provides convenience and quick recovery. Nano/Micro Laser Peel F.A.Q.s
The Nano Laser Peel beam is scanned over a treatment area to remove a very thin layer of the skin. Removing the top layer eliminates some of the damaged cells that can give skin a tired, aged look. Plus, it activates messenger cells to trigger the body’s natural healing process. As the skin heals, fresh cells grow and resurface the treated area. The result is healthier looking skin, often with reduced wrinkles and improved color evenness. Patients often say that it looks like their skin went from looking tired to vibrant.

Depending on the depth of the planned treatment, a topical numbing agent may be applied prior to the procedure. Your skin will be cleaned in the treatment area and your eyes will be protected with safety shields. The aesthetician will position the laser handpiece above the skin and will hold it in place as the computer guided scanner moves the laser beam around the treatment area.
Immediately after the treatment, you will notice that the skin has a “frosty” appearance, the result of the dehydrated skin cells that will slough in the following days. Most people experience a sensation of mild to intense heat in the treated area for approximately 2 hours following your appointment. The level of discomfort corresponds with depth of the treatment. Cold air and cool mist are used for comfort and to calm and hydrate the skin. In the days that follow, the skin tends to appear sunburned and may be accompanied by mild swelling and a feeling of tightness or stinging.
